One major argument for animal testing advocates is that it has helped scientists and researchers come to many important
conclusions regarding modern health and facilitated as many advances in medicine and surgery. Opponents contest, however,
that most of our modern life span growth and dropping of infant mortality, etc, can be attributed to better understanding
of things like germs and body systems: knowledge that could be and was largely gained without the aid of animal testing.
There is another reason why animal testing is senseless. Many scientests and doctors will attest to the fact that
animal testing and research is not a reliable source of data when it comes to human health and disease. There are several
